    Originally opened in 1952, The Sheiling School served as a specialist residential school for children with special educational needs, with a distinctive focus on arts and crafts. Though the school closed its doors in July 2024, its legacy remains deeply woven into the fabric of the local community.

    Renaissance Education recognises the profound importance of The Sheiling School to generations of families and educators. With a shared ethos rooted in creativity, care, and inclusive learning, Renaissance is committed to revitalising the site in a way that honours its heritage and preserves its unique character.
